On this page you will find the Terms and Conditions as stipulated by Summer Place and provide for your protection and information, and they concern the use of compulsory service providers, deposits and payments as well as claims for loss and damages, cancellations and bar facilities. Should you require clarifcation of any of these terms and conditions please do not hesitate to contact us for further information and assistance.

Chapel Hire & Wedding Service Fees 2011 - 2012

SEATS 150 - 180 GUESTS - TO HIRE: R 1400-00 +VAT
ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR CHAPEL FLOWERS, CANDLES, DRAPING PER BRIDE R 900-00
MUSIC IN CHAPEL R 275-00 +VAT
Only rose petals, bubbles, butterflies & doves are allowed as confetti. Service fees are payable in advance

Each Venue has it's own In-House DJ - Music will stop at 24h00
PLEASE NOTE USE OF VENUE'S SOUND PROFESSIONAL IS COMPULSARY

BAR FACILITIES

SUMMER PLACE HAS A FULLY STOCKED BAR AND CAN OPERATE ON EITHER CASH OR TAB DEPENDING ON YOUR REQUIREMENTS. CLIENTS ARE WELCOME TO PUT A LIMIT ON THEIR BAR ACCOUNT.
A CORKAGE FEE OF R25-50 (2012: R27-00) PER BOTTLE WILL BE CHARGED FOR WINE AND CHAMPAGNE BROUGHT ONTO THE PREMISES.OUR WINE AND CHAMPAGNE LISTS ARE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST.
ALL ORDERS MUST BE MADE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FUNCTION DATE.

Loss and Damages

SUMMER PLACE AND ITS EMPLOYEES OR ANY OTHER PERSON EMPLOYED AT THE WEDDING WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURY TO PERSONS, DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER CAUSE WHATSOEVER

Cancellations & Final Payments

CANCELLATIONS

A DEPOSIT OF R4000-00 (2012: R5000-00) IS PAYABLE TO CONFIRM BOOKING, DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. IN THE EVENT OF NON PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT, SUMMER PLACE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE PROVISIONAL BOOKING WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE. ONCE THE NUMBER OF GUESTS HAS BEEN FINALISED, THE NUMBER WILL BE THE FINAL AMOUNT CHARGED FOR. SHOULD MORE GUESTS ARRIVE THE CLIENT WILL BE BILLED AUTOMATICALLY.

FINAL PAYMENTS

ON CONFIRMATION OF YOUR FINAL GUEST COUNT, 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING, THE FULL AMOUNT IS PAYABLE, FAILING TO DO THIS SUMMER PLACE WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR THE CANCELLATION OF FUNCTION.

BAR ACCOUNT AND OTHER INCIDENTAL EXPENSES ARE TO BE SETTLED ON THE DAY OF THE FUNCTION. ALL BEVERAGES, MINERAL WATER, SOFT DRINKS AND JUICES WILL BE BILLED SEPARATELY FOR YOU ACCOUNT AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR FOOD COST.

YOUR DEPOSIT OF R4000-00 IS AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED OFF YOUR FINAL INVOICE WHICH IS ISSUED 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE FUNCTION. PLEASE NOTE: DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE
